The Girl with Nothing (ないないの女の子, Nainai no Onna no Ko?) is the first episode of the Super Cub anime series.
Synopsis[]
She wakes up in the morning, quickly finishes her breakfast, prepares her lunch, and leaves the house. Koguma is a high school girl who has no parents, no money, no hobbies, no friends, and no future goals. She happens to stop by a motorcycle store. What she encounters there is an old motorcycle, a Honda Super Cub that will change her life forever.
Notes[]
- The school is based on Hokuto Shiritsu Mukawa Junior High School (北杜市立武川中学校), which gets an acknowledgement in the end credits.
- The motorcycle shop is styled after Kuma's Factory, which is an architectural firm located just west of the high school.
- Koguma lives at Hinoharu Housing Complex, which is a group of apartment buildings near Hinoharu Station.
- The gas station which she visits is based on an Eneos station. Previously this was a Shell station, but became Eneos in 2019. Online images from 2018 show the Shell station after it went out of business, before reopening as Eneos.
