Chapter 12: Helping Out is a chapter in Volume 3 of the Super Cub manga.
Synopsis[]
Riding on the road, Koguma immerses herself in the scenery with full attentiveness. While passing through a town, Koguma finds a young man whose bike has a flat. She takes the young man and his bike to a local shop where the shopkeeper informs them he doesn't have the part to fix it. So Koguma does a patch job on the bike's tire for 800 yen. The young man tries to start a conversation with Koguma, however, Koguma tells him to be quiet, as he's being distracting. Koguma finishes the job, after doing a maintenance check on the bike and is thanked by the young man. As a way of "gratitude", the young man tries to take Koguma out for lunch. Koguma, however, is aware of his true intentions and kicks him in the knee. The shop owner then chimes in and offers her a job at the store, to which, she replies that she'll accept the job if she ever moves to that town.
